Contest Rules

• Contest Period: August 1, 2024, through January 31, 2025.
• Five-Star Club contest is subject to Ambit Energy validating point values and determining eligibility requirements for each participant. Ambit Energy can add and remove points at its sole discretion.
• New personal or downline Customer points are generated by personally enrolled Customers and/or those transferred to their qualified leadership organization.
• In some markets, Customers can enroll for both natural gas and electricity at the same location. These “bundled” Customers count as one Customer towards the contest.
• New solar Customers trigger points when the Customer has signed their solar contract and moves into pending status.
• Bonus points for weekly activity may be awarded at Ambit Energy’s sole discretion. Details on how to earn bonus points will be communicated prior to application.
• Bonus points for event attendees may be awarded at Ambit Energy’s sole discretion and will be awarded to event attendees only.
• The rules for the Five-Star contest are subject to change at Ambit Energy’s discretion.
• Ambit Energy reserves the right to disqualify participants at its sole discretion.
• If a winner is unable to attend, Ambit has the right to add a Consultant based on their final point value. We may invite the next in line only if their total points are no more than 15% less than the last group qualifier.

NC/EC/SC Guidelines

• Top 8 SC Point Earners win.
• Top 4 EC point earners with a promotion date prior to August 1, 2021, win.
• Top 4 EC point earners with a promotion date between August 1, 2021, and July 31, 2023, win.
• Top 4 EC point earners with a promotion date on or after August 1, 2023, win.
• Top 3 NC point earners with a promotion date prior to August 1, 2017, win. (Points will be capped at 30,000 for existing activity.)
• Top 3 NC point earners with a promotion date on or after August 1, 2017, win. (Points will be capped at 15,000 for existing activity.)
• New NC coded activity points are derived from personally sponsoring a MC during contest period.
• Existing NC coded activity points are derived from consultants in NC code prior to contest period.
• RCs who promote to SC during the contest period receive 1,500 points and will begin competing against all other SCs.
• SCs who promote to EC during the contest receive 2,500 points but will continue to compete against all other SCs.
• ECs who promote to NC during the contest period receive 5,000 points but will continue to compete against other ECs based on their promotion date.
• ECs that promote to NC during the contest period will continue to compete in their EC coded organization.
• For ECs and SCs, all points are awarded based on personal activity or activity within your most recent promoted Leadership Code.
• SCs who promote to EC during the contest period will earn points in both SC and EC Leadership Codes.

Contest Winner General Information

• Contest participation is limited to winning Consultants, and their certified business partner, spouse, or significant other age 18 years or older. Consultants unable to participate must forfeit both Consultant and their certified business partner, spouse, or significant other.
• Attendee must register no later than four (4) weeks from announcement of winners.
• Trip extensions are allowed based on availability at Consultant’s expense.
• A valid passport with an expiration date no later than six (6) months after the return date is required.
• Cancellations must be made three (3) weeks before the trip date. Failure to contact the Ambit Corporate office in Irving, Texas or events@ambitenergy.com three (3) weeks before the trip in writing with a cancellation request will result in the forfeiture of trip points and cancellation fees may apply. The Consultant is responsible and agrees to reimburse Ambit Energy for any such fees incurred.
• Any costs borne from the cancellation of an attendee will be at the Consultant’s expense. (i.e., airfare, hotel, activities)
• Five-Star club winners will be issued a 1099 pursuant to IRS rules and regulations.
