Helping others and leading a healthy lifestyle have always driven Jeremy and Meoshe Hennesy. Even when they both worked long hours in corporate jobs, they encouraged their two children to participate in sports and conducted fitness bootcamps to encourage others to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Their lives took a major change in direction when Meoshe was laid off from her job. “We didn’t have a backup plan or a way to replace such a significant loss of income,” Jeremy says. “Then I recalled a conversation I had with a young lady at my gym.” Although he’d passed on her initial invitation, Jeremy decided to attend a presentation and was immediately sold on the Opportunity. Convincing Meoshe was a little more challenging. “I asked her to watch the video three times, but she declined. After three days of thinking and praying, I jumped in with faith. My wife joined me as soon as she saw Ambit was putting money in our pockets.”
Working It Out
Jeremy and Meoshe started Ambit with hard work and realistic ambitions. “We hoped to make a few hundred dollars a month,” Meoshe says. “We plugged in and learned the business through training and great leadership.” The couple worked with their upline to strategize, plan and keep pushing forward and used motivational reading, networking events and business webinars to develop their skills.
And their hard work paid off. Meoshe was able to return to school full-time and get an advanced degree and the couple was able to put aside additional money to ensure a strong foundation for their children’s future.
Focusing on Fiscal Fitness
One of their proudest accomplishments is their ability to help others. “We’ve helped others by being available, providing weekly motivation and being a source of encouragement and accountability for team members and others,” Jeremy says. This willingness to help others has helped them succeed and convince former doubters to become customers and consultants in their organization.
Their advice to new consultants is simple. “I wish we’d known how to make the invitation to the Opportunity simpler instead of complicating it,” Jeremy says. It’s good advice, and a reminder that building a healthy business is like building a healthy body – focus on the basics and put in the work every day.
